Saturday 25th July Kaniva Leeor United Reunion. Celebrate 30 years since the amalgamation of Kaniva District Football Club and Leeor Football Club with a special reunion for past players, officials and supporters. Enjoy a great day of football and netball as Kaniva Leeor United takes on Laharum, catch up with old mates, enjoy a drink and stay for the Pig on the Spit dinner. Fri 31st July, 10:30am Wiregrass Heritage Trail Official Launch. Join us at Windmill Corner to celebrate the official launch of the Wiregrass Heritage Trail, a community project two years in the making that shares the fascinating stories behind Percy Leason’s Wiregrass cartoons. Start the day by tuning into ABC Wimmera’s morning program broadcasting live from the Windmill Café from 6:30am–9:00am, featuring interviews with the many people who have helped bring this unique heritage trail to reality. Following the official launch at 10:30am, the first guided tour will depart at 11:00am, showcasing the stories that shaped Victoria and providing an insight into 1920s and 1930s rural life through Percy Leason’s iconic cartoons.
