There is no charge for listings, however we welcome everyone to support us by way of a $30 annual KDPA membership.

Kaniva Puppet Shop
World's largest jigsaw puzzle

A 40,000 piece jigsaw puzzle is on display at the Kaniva Puppet Shop. The giant Mickey puzzle is confirmed by Guinness World Records as the largest commercially made puzzle in the world, both in number of pieces and overall size. The Kaniva Puppet Shop stocks one of the largest ranges of jigsaws in Australia and as such Ravensburg offered the completed puzzle as a window display show piece to the shop. The puzzle measures nearly 7 mts by 2 mts and is a must see! Pick up your copy of Out and About magazine for the full story. The Kaniva Puppet Shop is open 6 days a week, including the upcoming King's Birthday public holiday from 10 - 2pm.

1988 Cricket Tour Reunion

Edenhope & Edenhope Cricket Club welcomes back the Aboriginal Cricket Team of 1988. John McGuire captain of a national selection of players has indicated a return to the “Birthplace of Aboriginal Cricket”. 
Edenhope welcomes the 1988 & opposition team to this event. The public are welcome to attend the opening of the museum on Saturday 11th at 1.30pm with a  free afternoon tea and the welcome dinner on Saturday evening at pm. Come & listen to the teams experiences. There is a tour via buses to the 1868 cricket trail sites of Edenhope, Bringalbert, Apsley, Dergholm, Goroke and Harrow on Sunday with a light meal and screening of the 'Dreaming of Lords' movie at the Edenhope Community Centre. ​Community EPA meeting

The EPA is in the final stages of cleaning up the toxic waste site at Lemon Springs.
"We removed more than: 1,650 tonnes of liquid waste, 10,000 tonnes of contaminated soil, 51,000 acetylene cylinders. In total we found more than 40,000 tonnes of contaminated soil. If it was possible, we cleaned the soil then used it to fill the dig sites. We also have treated 4,000 kilo-litres of wastewater."
