Contact us to be featured in our Living Local promotional stories. There is no charge for listings, however we welcome everyone to support us by way of a $30 annual KDPA membership.

Free RV Camp

Free RV camping will be available at the Kaniva Recreation Reserve from Tuesday 7 April to Tuesday 14 April, offering a convenient and welcoming stop for travellers heading between Melbourne and Adelaide during Gather Round. With easy access, open space, and close proximity to the town centre, it’s an ideal place to pull up, relax, and enjoy a few days in the region. Visitors are encouraged to make the most of their stay by exploring local shops, dining options, and community events happening throughout the week. As the home town of Alastair Clarkson, you can also grab a selfie with life size cut outs. NB Free RV Pub Camp also available anytime at the Commercial Hotel and Henry's Club Hotel

Kaniva Show
The Kaniva Show is a traditional annual country show celebrating rural life and community spirit at the Kaniva Showgrounds. Featuring agricultural displays, livestock competitions, pavilion exhibits, market stalls, children’s entertainment, sideshow rides, craft and produce sections, food and hospitality, and live entertainment, the show offers something for visitors of all ages. It’s a fantastic opportunity to re-connect with past residents and friends, enjoy classic show attractions and share in a true-blue Aussie experience.
