Kaniva Show 2026

The 140th Kaniva Show will be held on Saturday 10th October 2026 at the Kaniva Showgrounds and Recreation Reserve, Budjik St, Kaniva.

Held every year on the second Saturday in October, the Kaniva Show is a traditional country show with something for everyone — from animals and farm fun to live entertainment, rides, and fireworks.

2026 Show Highlights

Fizzics Education Science Show all day
Bubble Fairy arriving at 2.30pm
Lazer Tag (free entry)
Animal Nursery featuring Myguhunga Miniature Goats
Dog High Jump – with Kim Dodson and Banjo (from Muster Dogs), 2.30pm
Helicopter Rides – from 1.00pm onwards
Car & Bike Show – 11.00am–3.00pm
Young Farmers Challenge $800 first prize– 4.00pm
Sheep Races – $1,000 first prize, 5.30pm
Live Music – “Doin Time” from 6.30pm
Fireworks Display – around 8.30pm

NB Early bird tickets can only be purchased before 5.00pm Thursday of Show week and are not be available at the gate.

Show Office Location: LINK Neighbourhood House, 50 Commercial St, Kaniva.
Show Office Opening Hours: Tues 6th – Thurs 8th Oct, 9.00am to 5.00pm
Online entries open 11th Sept 2026
In-person entries accepted at the Show Office (card or cash only — no bank transfers). Physical items must not be left at the office at the time of entry.
All entries close Thurs 8th Oct 2026 at 5.00pm No late entries will be accepted.

Car Parking at the Kaniva Show
Elderly / Disabled parking spots will be available at Kaniva Show.
You must book at the show office to receive your ticket.

Food & Hospitality
A wide variety of food vans and licensed facilities will be available throughout the day. Stay into the evening to enjoy dinner, drinks, live music, and the spectacular fireworks finale.
