Kaniva Puppet Shop is the shop that makes you smile.
It is one of only a few puppet shops still operating in Australia. It offers the visitor the opportunity to experience the magical world of puppetry. Visitors can enjoy puppet demonstrations and view a private marionette collection including one of the rare Australian mid-century Tintookie Marionettes. Children can perform impromptu puppet plays with puppets and theatre provided. The shop features a Christmas room and stocks one of Australia's widest variety of Jigsaw puzzles. Julie also runs a variety of workshops from wreath making to Christmas decorations.
Kaniva Puppet Shop is open Monday to Friday from 10 - 4pm, Saturdays till 1pm and most public holidays. Groups are welcome by appointment.
