Clayton Farm Heritage Museum
To find out more about the pioneer history of this area, visit Clayton Farm Heritage Museum in Bordertown South Australia.Experience farm life as it was more than a century ago. Visitors can now wander through historic buildings, such as The Homestead (c.1885), Silage and Pig Sty and The Woolshed (the largest thatched roof wool-shed in the southern hemisphere), or view the extensive collection of farm machinery that is preserved by the custodians of Clayton Farm.  You can also enjoy morning tea, lunch or dinner. Bookings are essential.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 11am - 4pm & Sun: 1pm - 5pm
Open most public holidays and other times by appointment.

The Wimmera Mallee Pioneer Museum
The Wimmera Mallee Pioneer Museum is in Jeparit, around a one hour drive from Kaniva. It sits on four hectares of land adjacent to the Wimmera River and houses many historic buildings, antiques, machinery and furnishings of the first Europeans in the district. The museum is run by volunteers and displays historical articles and machinery of the areas past, in sixteen historic early buildings. The museum boasts Victoria's largest displays of farm machinery, historical buildings and furnishings.
Opening Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 - 3pm.and other times by appointment.
Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday & Anzac Day morning.

Woods Farming & Heritage Museum
Huge collection of farming & household memorabilia dating back to 1920s in Rupanyup, 1 1/2 hrs east of Kaniva.
Opening hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 12.30pm
Saturday to Sunday 9am to 4pm
