Kaniva’s first hotel established circa 1883 was situated across the Fry's Four Mill. It was rebuilt in 1928 as the Commercial Hotel by James McCracken. It has been beautifully restored featuring an eclectic mix of hand picked items and is must see destination pub. It is centrally located on windmill corner, within walking distance to the shops, Kaniva Wetlands and Fauna Park and the Silo Art. It is open 7 days a week including most public holidays. The ball room with stage and big screen, is ideal for large events and private functions. Other features include; family dining room, al fresco area and games room, plus private hire pinball and karaoke room. Plus free pub camp with plenty of space for fully self sufficient vehicles.
