ANZAC Day in Kaniva offers a full day of commemoration and community sport.
10.50am – Assembly at Band Park 11.00am – ANZAC Day Service Location: Kaniva Cenotaph, Progress St, Kaniva
Organised by LINK Neighbourhood House, Ross McFarlane will be sharing the amazing wartime story of Ernest George Carter. The community is invited to come together to honour those who have served. NB, Please bring a chair if you'd like to sit.
ANZAC Match
1.00pm – Community Service held out the front of the Kaniva Community Hub, followed by an afternoon of games and activities, with Kaniva taking on Edenhope Apsley across all grades.. Location: Kaniva Recreation Reserve, Budjik Street.
Netball 1.30pm – Modifieds & A Grade 2.45pm – B Grade & C Reserve 4.00pm – C Grade & U13s This is a major local sporting fixture running throughout the afternoon and into the evening with full canteen available from 1pm and Big Guys Pizza will be there for dinner.
